An Introductory Letter

Dear Dancers and Parents,

We are pleased to announce the opening of The Coda at 13517 Hooper Road in Central.  We will be offering a variety of dance classes for children including ballet, modern, contemporary jazz, tap, and hip-hop.

Open House and Registration will be Saturday, August 20th, from 9:00AM to 2:00PM and Sunday, August 21st, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.  The first week of classes will commence on August 22ndThe Coda schedule, curriculum plan and registration forms in a separate blog post.

We will create a dance company for young dancers to perform within the local competition circuit.  Auditions for Coda’s Competition Team are Saturday, August 27th, at the following times:

Dancers ages 7-11               9:00am-10:00am
Dancers ages 12-14             10:00am-11:00am
Dancers ages 15-18             11:00am-12:00pm

At The Coda, we teach young dancers self-discipline and teamwork in a positive and constructive learning environment.  We believe that the study of creative movement ultimately builds a healthy confidence in our students that transcends the dance studio.  We provide classes for children over the age of three, and we offer young dancers training and performance opportunities at the professional, competitive, and recreational levels.

The Coda’s owners and faculty members perform, teach, and study professionally at the regional, national, and even international level.  It is our commitment to offer quality dance training in Central.  As current dance professionals, our teachers continually expand their dance experiences and bring back this knowledge to their students.

We hope that you will visit us in our new space for open house.  If you have any questions, please e-mail us at codadance@gmail.comAny and all feedback is ever so appreciated, even if you would just like to say, "We're in!"

Peace, love and dance,

Micaela Coner and Stephanie Faucette
